I get a lot of phone calls at my office asking the difference between a "free" sight test at an optical store versus a comprehensive eye exam from an optometrist's office.
"Why should I pay for an 'eye exam' when I can get one for free at the place that makes my glasses?"
Many people don't understand there is a large difference between a vision screener and a thorough eye exam...
