How Our One-Day Myopia Control Visit Works
Step 1: Email your child's prescription - we'll contact you to confirm prescription details.
Step 2: Schedule your visit – to ensure the best care we request that you and your child come to our Vancouver clinic for a fitting. Please allow ~ 15 days for your child's Stellest lenses to arrive, so we recommend an appointment on a day after that 15 day period. A $200.00 CAD deposit is also required to start your child's Stellest order.
Step 3: Purchase your child's frame from your local optometrist's office/optical store. This choice allows for convenient local adjustments, repairs, and any warranty services.
Step 4: Visit @ 180 Optometry & Eyewear in Vancouver - We will have your child's lenses ready. With your selected frame, we take measurements and do a proper fitting with your child.
Step 5: Same-day Pick up - We edge the lenses on site within an hour and your child leaves with their new myopia control glasses.

"Is there any warranties of the lenses and what if my child's prescription increases after wearing the glasses for a few months?"​

There's a year warranty on coatings (anti-scratch and anti-reflective). Scratches on the lenses due to wearer misuse (i.e) from dropping them on the ground or stepping on them) are not covered under warranty.

If your child's myopia increases by -0.50 DS or more within one year after dispensing, we offer a one-time no-charge redo of the lenses. Please note that this warranty applies only to changes in myopia, not astigmatism.

The year timeline starts on the order date, so I always tell patients to schedule a follow-up appointment with their optometrist/ophthalmologist at the 6-7 month mark to check for any changes in the prescription.

For the redo, you would need to ship the current frame and lenses back to us. You would then need to visit our clinic to pickup the new lenses.​​​​​

We can get your child's glasses done in one day trip to our clinic in Vancouver, BC. You would need to email us your child's latest prescription and put down a $200.00 deposit to start the order. The Stellest lenses typically arrive in 10-15 business days. If you choose to cancel your order after it has been placed, the $200.00 deposit is non-refundable, as the lenses are tailored to your child's prescription and cannot be resold.
On your scheduled visit to our office for measurements and fitting, we will have the lenses and use the frame you bring to finalize your child's glasses. After about an hour, your child will leave with their Stellest myopia control glasses.

​How Do We Pay?
We accept all major credit cards except American Express. Prices are in CAD, which usually means you save even more when converted to USD. We cannot bill U.S insurance companies because we charge in CAD.
